CWP Renewables has congratulated Quality Manager Tegan Doblinger on her selection for the Clean Energy Council’s Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership.

Ms Doblinger is one of 10 recipients of the 2023 scholarship which aims to support emerging and mid-level leaders.

CWP Renewables Head of People & Culture Kate Sykes congratulated Ms Doblinger on the achievement: “Tegan has shown tremendous leadership in supporting women in the renewables sector and we are incredibly proud of her selection as a Chloe Munro Scholarship recipient.”

“Not only has Tegan been active in the community by sharing her experiences with local schools to encourage girls and young women to consider a career in renewables and study in STEM, she has also shown a strong commitment to our industry as a whole and to supporting her colleagues to deliver success across our organisation.”

Ms Doblinger said she welcomed the opportunity to continue encouraging women to make a positive contribution to the renewables industry.

“My aspiration within the renewable energy industry is to provide role modelling, leadership and to normalise the sector as career for women,” she said.

“Throughout my career I have experienced the impact of minimal visibility of women across a range of positions and spaces and the gender biases within the industry.

“This change needs to be present throughout all elements of the renewable energy sector including in senior leadership levels, technical, professional and trade roles.”

Ms Doblinger is one of seven recipients of the Leading Edge Course scholarship, with another three recipients selected for the Executive Ready Course. Both courses are delivered by Women & Leadership Australia.

CWP Renewables is a proud sponsoring member of the Clean Energy Council.

“We’re incredibly thrilled to be adding to the talented cohort of women who won the inaugural round of Chloe Munro Scholarships,” said Clean Energy Council Chief Executive, Kane Thornton.
