Clean energy developer and operator CWP Renewables (CWPR) has launched its inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), taking an important step in the organisation’s reconciliation journey.

CWPR’s Reflect RAP sets out the actions the organisation is working on to foster a deeper understanding and connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to contribute towards reconciliation.

CWPR CEO Jason Willoughby commended the milestone and the commitment of the RAP working group.

“I’d like to thank our RAP working group for their dedication in developing our first RAP and achieving endorsement by Reconciliation Australia,” Mr Willoughby said.

“Our RAP is a natural extension of our values at CWPR. Integrity, respect and collaboration are all core to the way we work and I have seen first-hand the commitment of our people to stay true to these values.

“As an organisation we are looking forward to developing an increased understanding of the rich history of the local Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and operate as we continue our commitment towards reaching net zero emissions.”
